Credit Card Lounge

for a couple years now my dog Nigel has been receiving recruitment mail from the armed forces and scholarship information. occasionally my car insurance company calls and asks about why Nigel is not insured. Somehow he is ‘out there’ in the world of informationas my human child! I thought it was funny at first, but now it is worrying me. Does anyone know how I can correct this? Is there a bureau to notify? I have no clue how his name got out there. All I can guess is I might have put his name as my baby on some website somewhere. Like maybe babyzone or something. I have no clue. Please help!

Okay, that probably sounds like a stupid question, but I read that the number of inquiries about your credit can affect your credit score. It said “This includes promotional inquiries such as solicitations.” Since my credit card offers say I’m “pre-approved” based on my credit score, I’m assuming that means they have made inquiries.

how many credit card offers do you get in the mail weekly? what do you do with them? I like to tear em up and send em back in the prepaid onvelope. Then i write “No Thanks, Im on the dave ramsey plan.” Just a fun little hobby of mine.
you dont need a credit card to rent a car or get a hotel room or book a flight. A debit card works just fine and you dont go into debt using it.

Nothing wrong with good credit except that you have to go into debt and stay in debt to have good credit. A game that makes banks weathy not me and you.

I find them potentially dangerous. Yet I still get them despite having OPTed out at the credit bureau.

I usually send back the prepaid envelopes over-stuffed with junk mail. What do you do?

I have a credit card that has a 15.40 % APR and I’m looking to transfer the balance to another credit card. I checked several websites that offers you comparison with other cards. I just want to know if anyone knows which website or credit card offers 0%APR on balance transfer up to 18 months.

I’m basically trying to find the best deal before I take a decision.

I am looking to get another credit card, of course now that i need them i do not receive any offers in the mail, where can i request them?
i know that i can search for them online, but i would rather have something on paper

Preferably a credit card that offerers an affinity program with an airline mileage partner.
