How does the Chevron Credit Card (or Visa) work?

Visa Credit Card
I do not have any credit cards and I was wondering if this is a good start?
How does it work?
Whats the difference between a Chevron Personal Card and the Chevron Visa Card?
Will I be charged interest?
Does it work to build good credit?
Please advice Im new to credit cards?

    well I belive the chevon card would only work for/at Chervon gas stations and food marts they own
    a visa card would be just like any visa credit card
