Is it Easier to get a basic credit card versus a rewards card?

I have a chapter 7 discharged 7 years ago. I don’t want to be filling out offers for credit cards that are hopeless, I also think our credit is better than rock bottom as we have a car pmt thru the credit union and have refinanced our home twice in the past 7 years. We have not been late on a house payment in at the very least 10 years. And never on our car payment.
Is there a Ford rewards credit card I can get to earn points for a new car?

Credit cards?

I’m so confused. I”m getting to the age where the option of having a credit card is drawing near.
I’ve been looking at different cards, but I can’t seem to make heads or tails of the terminology. I would love if someone could explain these things to me.
Also, what are your expiriences with credit cards? Any good companies to go with? Should I even get a card at all?
Can i set up a way to earn rewards on a credit card by paying all my bills and expenses with it?

Ok, i own a house and do have good credit. I have never been late on a payment. I understand all the risks involved in using credit cards. My goal is to set up automatic payments from all my monthly bills (phone, internet, gas, electric, MORTGAGE, HOA, car, etc.) as well as use my credit card to pay for EVERYTHING. My goal is not to run up the balance or use it irresonsibly (sp). I just want to use my card like cash and pay it off each month. Hopefully, this will help me build better credit and EARN REWARDS (cashback, travel, miles, etc.). I want to consolidate all my bills and expenses into one payment on my credit card, and pay it off each month. Do credit card companies allow this? Is there anything i’m overlooking that won’t allow me to do this? thank you
How many bank accounts and credit cards should I have?

I am currently a college student with 2 checking accounts (Wamu- 3 years & BOA- 1 year) and 1 credit card (Citi- 1 year). I have always met the requirements for my checking accounts and paid all my credit card bills on time. As for loans, I do have about $10,000 of student loans in debt. I was wondering if it is okay for me to get another credit card. Also, many say that having a lot of credit cards are bad for you. What is the reccomendation of how many bank accounts and credit cards should I have so that my credits would not go down? Thanks in advance!
How many credit cards should you have to rebuild credit?

I am trying to rebuild my credit after ID theft, a couple of problems that were mine and years of basically not having any credit reported. (I primarily use my debit card and pay cash for everything). I make good money now and am trying to rebuild in order to purchase a condo in the next couple of years. My good accounts (rental, club, cable, cell, etc.) have not reported my good credit. So how many cards should I take out that will help boost my credit score but not hinder my credit. Thank you!
