I’ve had my secured Visa Credit Card from Bank of America for about a year now and my limit was 300 then last month it went up to 800. I know my limit raising is good but i’ve read having a secured credit for to long isnt a good idea. what do you think? any advise?

I currently have a Bank of America credit card in which I earn no rewards from using. Because I’m starting to use it more and more, I’ve decided it’s time to switch to a credit card where I can earn rewards. I’m wondering if people have suggestions on the best credit card to get based on the rewards/incentives associated with it?

I applied for the Bank of America points credit card with access to World Points and I was wondering how you like it. Does this credit card offer a special points program in addition with World Points and it says Bank of America Rewards? Also have you found AE to be wildly accepted like VISA in the USA and abroad? What are the benefits over the VISA world points credit card in terms of acceptance. I know the AE card has travel and retail protection and the Visa WP does not have travel protection.

Okay I got a credit card by mistake about 2 months ago. It was a Bank of America Student Visa Credit Card. I nothing about history so when I got the card I cut it up and closed it over the phone. I never used it. My aunt told me later that it would hurt my credit and that I should have left it opened. I did not know because I know nothing about credit cards. Will my credit score go down? If so, by how much? Please be detailed. I know nothing about this stuff.

My credit card is from MBNA/Bank of America. This is the first credit card I was given. It’s just a basic credit card…no rewards, benefits, etc. I am looking to add rewards to it so I have incentive to use it as opposed to my other cards with rewards.

B of A contacted me regarding an unpaid credit card account. The account holder has the same name as mine but the address is in Florida. I live in Chicago. I disputed that it was not my account. B of A insists it is mine. I asked for a copy of credit card application but they refused to provide me. How can I prove it is not mine??? It is very frustrating. Any advice will be appreciated.
