i dont shread them, i just rip them in half and throw them in the trash. could someone steal my identity using those even though it has no account #s on it?

If you intent to pay back the balance, and remain in good standing with the card company, is it true that lying about your age and saying you are 18 is not a crime?
I was told that although very unethical to lie about your age, that unless you get the card with the intent to not pay back it is not fraud.
But is it not the company that is to ensure they are not doing business with a minor?

What if someone mailed you the credit card application…

Then you filled out the Credit card application with your
SSN and mother maiden name and all…

Then you sent it to them…

And then they send you a lookalike Credit Card… asking
you to activate your card on the phone…

And then someone pretend they are from customer service
and they asked you questions… where you live? did you live
here before… and then other questions

While you answered all the questions they asked you… they
probably looking up your Credit Report and getting
Credit cards and stuff…..

How can you guys trust anyone?

Or any application to get a loan? This seems to be like a contagious disease in our country- and is just another cause of this Huge Mess in the economy right now?
I have noticed that I don’t get 5 Credit Card Applications everyday now that this began. – How bout you?
I haven’t lied on them- I just heard on the news that Credit Card Fraud has alot to do with this Crisis as well.
