I’m in college and really need to start building my credit. I’ve never had a credit card and don’t really want one. I’m sure I’ll end up getting one eventually. However, this lady at walmart told me to start putting my paychecks on a walmart visa card. She said it will build my credit. Every time you put money on the card it costs $4.00. Obviously, there is no interest rate as it works just like a debit card. How does this build my credit?

What’s your interest rate and how good are the benefits and rewards associated with this card?

I want to know the bank in Philippines who offers the best credit card in terms of discounts, promos & low interest rate. Citibank, HSBC or BPI?

I have a Discover card that has a balance of roughly 7 grand that I am trying hard to pay down/off but the interest rate is nearly 18%! Does anyone know of a good credit card offer where I can transfer my balance and get it paid off at 0% for a year or something like that?

Not zero interest rate, zero FEEs. I used to get those offers in years past, but no longer. My credit is perfect, but I am probably no longer a perfect customer from the POV of the cards, because I have high limits I don’t use, pay off my balances every month, don’t use most of my cards most months, etc.
PS – I have Amex, MC / Visa, Discover.
If you are getting them, can you tell me your gen credit profile, the card name, do you carry a balance, etc? Tx
